The effect of using bengkung - belly bind on reducing diastasis rectus abdominis in postpartum mothers in private practice midwifery, Curup city, Rejang Lebong Regency

Background: Postpartum maternal health status is essential to improving a postpartum mother's quality of life. The most common complaints in mothers are back pain and the syphilis region abdomen. These arise due diastasis rectus abdominis (DRA). Objective: To overcome DRA by using Bengkung-belly bind.Methods: This research was conducted on who experienced independent practice midwives Curup City, Rejang Lebong Regency. sample this study consecutive sampling method with 32 respondents. design quasi-experimental, pre-test post-test one group. Result: In week 6, after intervention bind, Z value -5.477 obtained, p-value <0.05. data analysis showed effect bind reducing mothers.Conclusion: use bengkung-belly can be recommended private midwifery reduce DRA.
